Tool/software:

 I'm quite new here and recall that I was able to flash Firmware without boost. Is it possible to write programs solely using the IWR6843ISK module?We have the boost, but not the DCA. I guess, that if I can flash firmware I should be able to flash custom programs as well.

    Hello, 

    Sorry for the delay here. You do NOT need the DCA1000EVM (or mmWave Studio) for writing / debugging application code for the IWR6843ISK. To clarify:

    • IWR6843ISK (standalone): Can write programs to flash and run in functional mode
    • IWR6843ISK + MMWAVE-ICBOOST: Required for running in debug mode / stepping through code execution / breakpoints / etc...
    • IWR6843ISK + MMWAVE-ICBOOST + DCA1000EVM: Only required for capturing raw ADC data samples.
