Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH
Tool/software:
I am working with an AWR6843AOPEVM Rev G board. Flashing via UniFlash was working fine when the Mission AOP board was attached to the carrier/breakaway section. After I snapped the Mission AOP board away, flashing stopped working:
-
I can still see two CP2105 COM ports (COM6 and COM8) enumerating on my PC.
-
I set the SOP switches correctly for flashing mode (SOP2 = ON, others OFF).
-
However, the device does not enter flashing mode, and UniFlash logs errors like “XXXX Received unexpected data!!!XXXX” and “Image loading failed: Not able to connect to serial port. Recheck COM port selected and/or permissionst”.
-
I realized the reset button (SW2) was on the breakaway side, so I no longer have a way to toggle RESETn after changing SOP.
My question:
How can I perform a reset on the Mission AOP board without the button?
-
Is there a test point or pin (e.g., on the 60-pin connector) I can short to GND to trigger RESETn?
-
Will power-cycling over USB be enough, or do I need a dedicated reset pulse?
Any guidance or pinout reference for triggering reset directly on the Mission AOP board would be appreciated. Also, I have already flashed it a firmware , even if flashing stops working , I was expecting it work in the configuration mode ,However it didn't work .
