AWR1843AOP: External Oscillator Connection instead of Crystal

Hello,

I'm trying to use an external oscillator instead of cystal in my AWR1843AOP board.

I can find the following in the datasheet of AWR1843AOP.

Can I directly connect the 1.8V square wave oscillator output to "CLKP"?

Or Should I add some RC Circuits to the oscillator output to make it look like a sine wave?

Hi BK,

Yes, you should connect the external square wave to CLK-P without an RC as it will have impact over the Rise and fall times. Looks like some of these values are not captured here if you are using the DC coupled square wave. Let me check internally and get back to you on the min-max spec.]
