Hello, 

I'm using the TPS61391 to generate a negative APD bias voltage as discussed in this application note ("High-Precision Negative-Voltage APD Power Supply Design with TPS61391"). I have the following questions about the functionality of the TPS61390's current mirror mirror/sensing when the part is configured in this manner: 

  1. Is it possible to keep the functionality of the integrated current mirror and current limiting when using an inverting charge pump stage? 
  2. What is the bandwidth of the current mirror when a typical resistor of ~5k is used with the MON pins? 
  3. If it's not possible to keep the functionality of the integrated current mirror, could you please suggest an alternative topology for current measurements? For reasons specific to my application, I can't put a TIA in series w/ the APD. I'm looking for a bandwidth in the 100s of khz using a current mirror.
