IWRL6432: RDIF Interfacing with FPGA

Hi,

I understand that IWRL6432 provides adc data through TI's custom RDIF interface. We want to interface the IWRL6432 board with a PynQ Z2 FPGA board for streaming data and further processing. In this regards, we want to understand how can this interfacing be done by bypassing DCA1000. Also we need more documentation and details on the RDIF Interface.

Hi,

From the IWRL6432 IC, RDIF interface is a 3.3V CMOS interface. Onboard level translators on IWRL6432BOOST/IWRL6432AOPEVM convert the CMOS level to the 1.8V LVDS format which is compatible with the DCA1000.

You can connect to the FPGA and collect the data from the RDIF interface. Please refer to the IWRL6432 Technical reference manual for more details
