HDC2080EVM: Configure or Retrieve Serial ID

Part Number: HDC2080EVM

Sensing Solution EVM GUI v1.10.0 and Page 16 of hdc2080.pdf section 8.5.4 Read and Write Operations indicate SERIAL ID is available.

How can I configure or retrieve the SERIAL ID for the HDC2080EVM dual sensor.

    Hello,

    These SERIAL ID registers you are seeing at addresses 0xF4 through 0xFB are for internal use only, and not supposed to be used by those outside TI. Its unfortunate they are included in the EVM GUI, because it gives the mistaken impression that these are unique ID registers that users can access. You can retrieve the Manufacturer ID and Device ID in registers 0xFC through 0xFF, although these are not unique for different sensors.
