Does anyone has the IBIS model for LM75CIM-3?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM75B, LM75A, TMP101, LM80

Hi,

Does anyone has the IBIS model for LM75CIM-3? I know it's now obsolete, but need it to troubleshoot an i2c issue we have. I searched both National Semi and TI but cannot locate it. Thank you!

Tony

  • Hi Tony,

If this is a new design I highly recommend that you switch to the LM75AIM. You will not need to carry two parts in your inventory as this part works well with a wide supply range.

Here is the URL for the LM75B ibis model:

    http://www.national.com/assets/en/tools/ibis/lm75.ibs

I need a few days to double check to see if this applies 100% to the LM75A as well. But this will give you a start as I don't expect much changes. These models are typical models anyway.

  • We want to use "TMP101" as our new temp sensor to replace "LM75CIM-3". We had some issues with LM75CIM-3 and would like to get the IBIS model so we can perform signal integrity analysis. I can find LM75B IBIS model but not sure if it's suitable to model the older LM75CIM-3.

Do you (National or TI) still have the now obsolete LM75CIM-3 IBIS model? Or is the LM75B is also good in this case. Thank you.

  • Hi Tony,

I scrounged around and came up with this model "lm75C-usingLM80.ibs" It's based of the LM80 witch has the same input models. The SDA output modle though will not behave the same. I hope this helps. I'll upload the file to the forum. If I can't I'll have someone else do it tomorrow.

  • Thank you Ian and Emmy for the timely response. We have a few legacy systems that still use LM75CIM. This IBIS model would be really helpful.

  • You are welcome - glad I could help.
