    The only way to reset the device is power down.

    Hi Seasat,

    I may not be clear regard to the implication of power down. Yes, you can reset the device. It can be power cycling the part or a software power down. Here are the step sequences for software power down. For more detail, please refer to the LM73 datasheet section 3.3.

    1. Allow Vdd reach to the minimum operating voltage (+2.7V) as specified in the datasheet in the Operating Rating section.
    2. Write a “1” to the Full Power Down bit 7 of the configuration register. Hold it high for the specified maximum conversion time for the initial default of 11-bit resolution, which is 14ms.
    3. Write a “0” to the Full Power Down bit to restore the LM73 to a normal mode.
