I would like to adapt an inexpensive chinese thermal cooker to tmp006 control as a learning design project, not for actual use.
Does anyone have sample thermal cooker source code or a description of the software temp control algorithms these units use. Is the initial delay before switching to temp regulation to boil food for safety or are they expectiing to sense the temperature plateau of boiling water to calibrate the cook pot / glass plate temp RTD sensor? Do they correct for RTD nonlinearity and nonlinear power vs pulse width temp modulation response with a lookup table? any sample code for ti processors or other microcontroler?
