can ldc1000 fit traditional inductive sensors?

we are using traditional inductive sensors, the inductance of the probe is about 0.5mH, and the cable is about 50 meters long.

can ldc1000 fit this probe?

and, how about the frequency response of ldc1000 at this situation?

    The answer will greatly depend on the system configuration. Please let me ask you a few questions:

    1) Do you have already the system (Coil + cables) in place? By the way, just to make sure, 50m between the coil and electronics location, correct?

    2) If you have the cables already in place, is it a twisted pair, or otherwise shielded from EMI?

    3) Again, the the cable is there, can you measure serf-resonance frequency - that would be of great help.

    4) What is the required acquisition speed?

    5) Can you share a bit more info about the application? What is the coil used for? How big physically is it?

    only the coil is in place, we could choose proper cables, if possible.correct,50m between the coil and electronics location.

    the acquisition speed is 10kps, the cut-off frequency should be about 5k, at least 2k.

    5) Can you share a bit more info about the application? What is the coil used for? How big physically is it?

    it is a traditional inductive displacement sensor. the probe and target is both made of silicon sheet. the inductance of the coil is about 500 uH. if required, the probe could be designed again.
