Evgeny, I looked at FAQ question 2 as you suggested, but it does not show coil diameter.
Also, regarding differential measurements, it seems that with two coils multiplexed into one LDC1000 a more precise measurement could be done because any temperature drift in either the coils or the electronics would be largely removed. I assume that a metal target motion perpendicular to the coil axes is to be measured. Has this been done?

In short, there is no simple answer to your question (please see the explanation there). It greatly depends on the coil design/parameters.
