LDC1000EVM red led always on

I changed the coil of LDC1000EVM for a discrete ferrite coil. The indctance of this coil is 100uH and with a parallel capacitor of 4.3 nF. The oscillation frequency of tank circuit is about 240 KHz and the Rp is 24 K ohms.

 

When a start the LDC1000EVM, the red led of module stay on all the time. What could happened for the red light stay always on?

    Don't worry about that - it will show red with a sensor significantly different from original one.

    I would also suggest to play with RpMIN/MAX settings to optimize performance.

    For your LC tank I would start with RpMIN = 4.309kOhm, RpMax = 38.785kOhms
