Hi, i just need some advice regarding temperature sensors

I need a sensor that can work down to at least -55 degrees celsuis - any suggestions?

if possible to suggest a microcontroller that would work well with a TI temp senor? I need to record temp readings every few seconds and need to dump into storage so i can retrieve later

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Tim,

With regard to the temperature sensor and -55C operation--check out the newly released TMP20. Note that this is an analog output device.
