1) Is it possible to modify the firmware/software on development board for our application?

2) If yes for 1 what tools we need to change the firmware? Can we get temporary license for Code composer studio until we develop the application.

3) Do we need any jtag or any hardware to download our code?

    The firmware on the EVM will be released by 12/20. 

    We do not recommended modifying the firmware on the EVM unless the user programs a method for the firmware to enter BSL.  Because there are no JTAG headers in the current iteration of the EVM, it will not be possible for the user to debug modified code.

    The recommended path is to use a EXP-5529LP LaunchPad to interface to the LDC1000+sensor.  This way, the user can maximize data aggregation through USB for analysis (see DRDY and LowSpeed examples in the firmware library).
