TMP104 Calibration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP104

Hi,

I have two quick questions from the customer and the information on the datasheet seems ambiguous.

Within  the communication protocol between host and tmp104s, does the calibration command have to be sent every single command by host such as read, write, or add assignments?

Or just one time when the host tries to do global initialization?

The second is how the host assign the slave address to TMP104?

what I understand is the host assign the address from 000 to the closest tmp104 and increase the address number to assign it to the right next tmp104.

Is this right?

Thank you in advance.

Calibration command has to be sent in the beginning of every read/write or assignment command.

Yes, you are correct. Once the host assigns the address to its immediate TMP104, address gets incremented accordingly.

    Best Regards,
