LDC1000 EVM Freezes on sampling rates above 1000 Hertz

I recently purchased an LDC1000 EVM.   The GUI seems to work fine, but if I try to set the sampling rate above 1000 Hz, the GUI freezes as does the EVM.  I have shutdown the GUI and remove/reinstall the EVM board to re-establish communication.  Any thoughts on how I might fix this?
