Problems about the coil design of LDC1000

I want to use Webench to design coils used in a metal touch. But the default value of the space between trace and the width of trace are both 4mil in Webench.

How can I design a coil wth space beween the trace and the width of trace are both 6mil?

What's more, I want to know how to theoretically analyse the relation between resolution and inductance. In other words, how Webench draw the chart of relation between distanse and other parameters.

Hi Sunny,

I have make some excel sheet to find the relationship between resolution and Q,distance,diameter of coils which I get from Webench design result. In most cases the higher the Q is, the better the resolution will be. Thebigger the footprint is, the better the resolution will be. But there are some exceptions in each group. (coil 3,4,5)

I don't know whether it is the real pattern. If not, how Q and distance of a coil influence the resolution result.
