Does any one has recommendation to mout HDC device with water proof?

    Dear Kyt

Let me make some comment on the water proof requirements:

    1. To sense the environment the humidity sensor has to put in contact with the environment, so it's not possible to completely sealed the sensor inside the watch (otherwise the sensor sense the inside the watch humidity only).

    2. HDC1000 can be put in contact with the water but:

    a) Humidity output saturate to 100%RH

    b) if the pins/balls are shorted the HDC1000 stop to work

    c) After that the HDC1000 is drained it works normally again, but long exposure at high humidity can imply an increase in the accuracy error.

Regarding the difficulties to solder the HDC1000 could you please be more specific? HDC1000 can be soldered as a standard surface mounted device

    Best Regards
