At FDC1004, by using SHLD1/2, up to how much capacitance (any capacitance to ground on signal path between the FDC1004 CINn pins and sensor) can be eliminated? Any maximum number or the unlimited capacitance could be eliminated?

    If I understand your question correctly, SHLD1/2 can eliminate up to 400pF of capacitance. This capacitance is dictated from the coupling between SHLD1/2 to GND which depends on the SHLD and GND sensor area. If it is over 400pF, then our FDC1004 cannot drive the SHLD properly (becomes weak), and shielding with degrade and become less ineffective.
