Is there any competitive solution for capacitive sensing multi-touch like ATMEL MXT224?

We found FDC1004 as Capacitive Sensing Solutions.

Is there any document for creating capacitive Sensing multi-touch system with this device?

The ATMEL MXT224 is specifically designed as a capacitive touch controller. The FDC1004 is mainly used for capacitive sensing applications, and not designed for capacitive touch but could possibility be used for that purpose (depending on the system requirements).

There are several competitive devices:

AD7747, AD7147, AD7150, PCAP01 (w/ microprocessor), IQS127D, AT42QT1010, STM8T141, SX9500

There are no documents for creating capacitive sensing multi-touch system because it is not designed for that application.

Hi,

TI does have MCUs with cap touch functionality. Check out the reference design below that showcases the use of the MSP430 cap touch features:

I will plug in the MCU to experts to ensure I am not missing anything.
