I have some questions about "WEBENCH® Inductive Sensing Designer"

How much spacing between the layers is needed for 2 layer coil ?

How much spacing between the layers is needed for 4 layer coil ?

I mean the spacing between the conductive layer = thickness of the dielectric layer = glass epoxy layer.

What will be the total thickness of the PCB ( 2 layer and 4 layer ) ?

The spacing can vary for your application. Adjusting the dielectric thickness from (for example) 0.2 mm to 3mm will have the effect of lowering the coupling between layers, giving you a lower overall sensor inductance. You would gain a small increase in sensing range, perhaps an additional 0.5mm (although this depends on the sensor diameter).
