LDC1000 how to improve Resolution

Hi,

My customer achieved 300nm of the resolution on following condition.

They hopes to achieve the resolution of 100nm.

Is there anything how to improve the resolution except the optimum coil and the optimum filter capacitance?

    Hello Kuramochi,

    I assume the customer is using L measurement. The external clock on the EVM is 6MHz, where 8MHz is maximum clock frequency according to the D/S. Using 8Mhz clock will improve the resolution by 33%. Setting response time to 6144 will provide the lowest measurement noise.
    Additional techniques to improve the frequency measurement resolution on the LDC1000 is to use a lower frequency sensor and also to ensure you are using the response time setting of 6144.
