Question about TMP302B Trip point accuracy

Genius 4220 points

Hi,

I'd like to ask about these two descriptions in TMP302B D/S,

・Trip point accuracy +/-0.2% typ    +/-2% max

・Trip point accuracy versus supply  +/-0.2% typ    +/-0.5% max

Regarding the ”Trip point accuracy” spec, It's applied to the VS range VS = 1.4 to 3.6 V, is it right?

If so, what is the meaning of the "Trip point accuracy versus supply" spec?

I'm not sure the relationship between ”Trip point accuracy” and "Trip point accuracy versus supply" .

Thanks

Go

  • Hi Go,

    • Regarding the ”Trip point accuracy” spec, It's applied to the VS range VS = 1.4 to 3.6 V, is it right? - Yes, it is applied to the VS= 1.4V to 3.6V.
    • What is the meaning of the "Trip point accuracy versus supply" spec? - This is the Power Supply Rejection (PSR), please note it is specified  with °C/V units . Let's say you are operating at 1.4V and you move the power supply voltage to 2.4V (1 Volt change) you have to add ±0.3 (typ) or ±0.5 (max) to your "trip point accuracy" value.
