TMP007 Device ID Register

Hello Team,

I'd like to ask you about TMP007.

Device ID Register is 0077h when I changed the slave address of TMP007 to 0x45（ADDR1=1, ADDR0=1).

However Device ID Register is 0078h before I changed the slave address.

Could you tell me the reason why does the Device ID Register change?

This behavior is not expected. Can you please send us the value of your other registers and a basic schematic? Also, what is your communication frequency and the Vsupply? What is the previous address you had in the slave address?

Hello Mayrim,

I use the TMP007EVM.

Therefore, the previous address is 0x40（ADDR1=0, ADDR0=0) and schematic is same as EVM.

Vsuppy: 3.3V
I2C Bus Frequency : 400KHz

Sorry for the delay. Basically some of our early EVMs were made with an earlier version of the die. They should now all be purged from the system. The data sheet is now correct. Again, sorry for the delay.
