Hello,

I cannot install the USB Driver for the HDC1000EVM. I get an error saying "The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information". Is there an update? Thank you.

Oh and BTW I'm running Windows 8.1. Sorry to omit that information.

Did you tried with a Windows 7?
I'm verifying the Windows 8 compatibility.

Hello Massimo,
Yes the same software installs and runs the HDC1000EVM on a Win7 Pro system. I did receive a warning about not having a publisher but I chose to "install anyway". I also ran both setups with "Run as Administrator". So the Win7 works and the Win8.1 doesn't. Thank you for asking since now we know more and I can actually see the HDC1000 operating. Unfortunately all my testing needs to be done on the Win8.1 system so I'm hoping you find a solution and let me know.

Hello Massimo,

Here is the connection information message window from my Win7 Pro system which is running the HDC1000EVM:

I'm not sure why the serial number is invalid. Hope this helps give you more useful information.

Sorry this has gone without a response for so long. There is a newer version of the EVM GUI that should support Win8:
