Hello,

If customer would like to implement LMT70 on wearable watch ofr human body temperature measurement. Do we have suggest mechanical design for customer reference?

What is the thermal response time of LMT70 for human body temperature measurement. If time as below 300s for stable, it is not suitable for wearable device application. Thank you.

Hi Patrick,

We will be releasing a new app note based on body temperature measurements and mechanical design recommendations. It will be available in a few weeks.

The chart shows the thermal response time of the LMT70 attached to different PCB's and placed in the armpit. Please consider if you want the temperature to settle to 100% of the final value. Response time may vary for different applications, some require 63% or 95% of the final value. Also note that the placement of the sensor affects the thermal response time.

Hi Michael,

One of my customer also wants to evaluate LMT70/LMT70A for body temperature measurement.
However, they need guaranteed 0.1% accuracy over 20C to 42C range.

Can you suggest best possible device? In the datasheet, accuracy curves indicate very good performance, however in datasheet worst case accuracy is documented as 0.13% for these devices.

I'm a student trying to build a skin measure device using the LMT70 but i haven't found the library to could use it in Cadsoft Eagle Software. Could you help me? I tried to make my own component but i failed. Regards.
