LM35AH datasheet drawing orientation wrong?

Hi,

It seems the images didn't get attached properly in the previous post. Please find the images below, in the same order as implied by the previous mail. The concern is regarding the 2nd figure, which appears to be a bottom view rather than a top view

Hi Anoop,

Both drawings are from the top view. The first image, the package drawing, is the same image as the second image just rotated 180 degrees.

Actually I'm a bit confused here. Looking at the first photo of the device below from the bottom side, if you rotate it 90 degree clock wise, won't it look identical to the image at the bottom(pin encircled in red is +VS)?

To put it in another way, in the photo below, viewing from the top of the package, the +VS pin(encircled in red) appears to be situated to the left of the package tab(encircled in green). But in the drawing below that, the +VS pin(encircled in red) appears to be situated to the right of the package tab(encircled in green), so shouldn't the drawing actually be the view from the bottom rather than the top as indicated?

Hi Anoop,

I just tested an actual LM35AH part, seems like the datasheet is incorrect. In the datasheet's top view, Vout and GND should be switched. I will let the editor know about this mistake asap.

Thanks for the confirmation. By the way, isn't it true that the drawing in the datasheet is actually the bottom view, though it is marked as top view? We wanted the confirmation because we were planning to release a board with this IC this week
