Hello,

Is it possible for the GUI of the TMP006EVM to collect and view data from multiple sensors at once? I am looking to use up to 8 sensors and would like to view data from 8 TMP006EVM's if possible.

The labview source code for the TMP006EVM is available in the tool folder at http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sboc407. The labview source code for the TMP007EasyCalEVM is also available and you could easily adjust that to use the TMP006.

Alright thanks. So in order to use up to 8 TMP006EVM evaluation modules at once, I will have to modify the source code of the TMP007EasyCalEVM? Would it be easier for me to use 8 TMP007EAsyCalEVM's instead? Please let me know.

Miles,

Neither software is ready to use multiple devices at once. Both use an SM-USB-DIG as the USB-to-I2C interface host controller board. Whichever device you choose, with our EVMs, you will have to modify the source code to support multiple devices.

Adafruit makes little TMP007 adapter boards which would be easy to hook up in a chain. I don't know what software support they offer, but if that helps you in your efforts, I encourage you to check it out.
