Using of LDC1004 for water flow measurement.

Hi all,

Can we measure  the liquid flow using the LDC1004 and will it give digital output proportional to rate of flow of liquid.

  • Hello Kudiarasu,
I am not aware of the LDC1004. Do you mean LDC1000?

The LDC1000 measures conductive objects. If you have an impeller inside the pipe that is made from metal or has a conductive coating and that changes speed with flow rate, then you can use the LDC1000 to determine the flow rate by measuring the number of impeller blade transitions. Alternatively, you could have a piston inside the pipe and measure the position of the piston with the LDC1000.
