I have the TDC1000-C2000 EVM I've been trying to download the SW with no success . The tidc731b file can't open .

its has no file extension .

any suggestion ?

Hi Avi,The extention of the tidc731b file is zip.
It include the TDC1000_C2000_EVM_Installer folder.
Inside this directory thare is a directory named Volume in it you can find the all instalation files

Hi Ofer ,

From some reason there is no extension , I have tried to rename it to zip without success .
Is there an other way to download it ? (FTP...)

Avi,

Downloading from TI website is the recommended way as it automatically goes through an export control check as part of the download.

My guess is there is some security control in your browser that is stripping off the zip file extension. I am checking with our IT help. In the meantime, could you please try downloading again and also if possible from another system. When you rename, please just add ".zip" to the file name.

Vishy is totally correct. this happens on my machine as well. All you have to do is rename the downloaded file by adding .zip a the end. you will not have a problem after that. in the meantime Vishy will try to sort out why some machines strip the .zip extension and some do not. you are in good company, my machine does the same as yours :)
