Hi,
The SERIAL ID[7:0] is 8 bits on the datasheet.
But Serial Id bits[15:7] are 9 bits.
Is Serial Id bits 8bits[15:8]?
Thanks,
Kuramochi

Hi Kuramochi-san,
Thank you for pointing out this question.
The HDC1000 serial number dimension is actually composed by 41 bits.
The correct serial number registers description is then the following:
| Name | Registers | Description |
| SERIAL ID[40:25] | [15:0] Serial ID bits | Device Serial Number bits from 40 to 25 (read only) |
| Name | Registers | Description |
| SERIAL ID[24:9] | [15:0] Serial ID bits | Device Serial Number bits from 24 to 9 (read only) |
| Name | Registers | Description |
| SERIAL ID[8:0] | [15:7] Serial ID bits |
Device Serial Number bits from 8 to 0 (read only) |
| [6:0] Reserved |
Reserved, always 0 (read only) |
We are going to update the HDC1000 Datasheet with the correct information as soon as possible.
Thank you again, and sorry for any inconvenience.
Best regards,
Carmine Iascone
