Is this possible to control the water level of a 1 meter height pvc tank  with FDC1004?

What is the maximum length of the capacitance sensor we can use with FDC1004?

    Hi Sebastian,

    FDC1004 supports 0-100pF. With one CAPDAC FDC can capable of reading 0 to +-15pF[30pF]. You can set CAPDAC range according to your application.
    Can't tell the exact length but Capacitance depends on area of cross-section of the metal plates and distance between two plates[or dielectric media].

    There is no maximum length the sensor can be. It is mainly dictated by the input capacitance range of the device, in which there is a +/-15pF range for the FDC1004 with a 100pF offset.
