Hi,

For the formula that was written to the data sheet of the TMP112, please let questions.

1) Constant of Accuracy (25 ℃) in the data sheet (SBBOS473D) page23 equation (2) and formula (4) is "0.3 ℃".

And I will think "+0.5℃" .← Is it correct in this understanding? (Reason: page5 Accuracy = it is written, ± 0.5 ℃)

2) Constants of page23 equation (11) Slop2 (MAX) is "4.5m ℃ / ℃".

And we will think "5m ℃ / ℃". ←Is it correct in this understanding? (Reason: Table14 it is written, 5m ℃ / ℃)

Hi Cafain,

(1) Please note that we specifically points out that in the temperature range of 0⁰C to 60⁰C, the accuracy is ±0.5⁰C. I believe these equations work for individual calibration, where the device’s actual accuracy at 25⁰C is used. Another way to look at it - if you use 0.5⁰C, any slope will put the device out of the ±0.5⁰C spec, which apparently can’t be true.

(2) Agree this might be an oversight; it should be 5 instead of 4.5. I’ll confirm with my colleagues and make the correction if it is indeed the case.
