I have a fdc1004EVM with a pad of 2cmx2cm

How should I set the register for taking 15 cm promissed from the datasheet ?

HI Alberto:

Sensing distance is based on system environment. To get the lowest noise possible, the FDC1004 should be set to 100SPS. A detection threshold of a few fF will be used to indicate what your max sensing distance from your baseline reading.

"sps" stand for?
