Hi Team,

I would like to ask about FDC2214EVM.
Could you give me the sample code that calculate capacitance value?

I understood the value can be calculated by formula (7).

I checked MSP430 sample code in the following firmware but it seems the sample code that calculate capacitance value isn't there.
So I believe it is calculated by GUI side.

    Hi Yaita-san,

    There is a JSON file which shows the calculation. If you used the default directory to install the GUI, the file can be found here: "C:\ti\Sensing Solutions EVM GUI-1.8.8\PC GUI\server\assets\device\fdc2214\register.json"

    The relevant lines are:
    - 2268  Combines MSB and LSB data fields
    - 2278  Calculates the reference frequency
    - 2286  Calculates the detected frequency on the sensor
    - 2294  Convert sensor frequency to capacitance
    - 2298  Remove parallel from the calculated capacitance
