hand digitizer

hello do you think that any of the LDC are suitable for hand writing digitizer ,in a way that, may I use multi overlaping rectangle coil to sens inductance variation acurately ,let's say that each rectangle are 4*120 mm

Hello Eric,

We have not investigated a handwriting digitizer application. I think that the target size (the pen tip) may not small enough.

what you mean by the pen tip may not small enough ?
for actual hand digitizer pen tip can be as small as 2mm do you thinks that still to big ?

how small or how big you think the pen tip should be ?

Hi Eric,

The optimum target size is the same size as the sensor! That is obviously not viable for what you are interested in doing. Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer for your question.
