Hi,

I would like to ask you a question about the response time from register setting to PWM out.

Could you tell me the actual time, from PWM register setting to PWM signal is output (PWM output signal is changed.)?

I expect that the actual time is under 300mSec.

Hi Takumi,

The PWM output updates before the ACK bit on the SMBus/I2C transaction. The delay between last data bit and the PWM changing is between 9-11us, see the picture below:

The PWM output is truncated when going from a high to low duty cycle. In the picture below the PWM duty went from 80% to 10%. The last 80% duty cycle is cut short when the 10% duty cycle is written to the part.
