[LDC1000] Resolution of Proximity Data

Hi,

I think that the resolution of proximity data is 16 bit.

But the max value of proximity data is 32768(=2^15) on GUI.

Does this mean that the resolution of proximity data is 15 bit ?

Or can the max value be changed by setting?

    Hello Kuramochi-san,

    The number of output codes is 32769, which requires 16 bits to report out, although effective number of bits is something like 15.05. The number of output codes is fixed and does not change. The LDC1101 has 65536 output codes and improved performance should you need higher resolution.
