The system that I'm running is windows 10.
I plugged LDC1000 EVM into my laptop and open the GUI. The GUI showed up a firmware update message and I clicked "yes". After a few minutes the window showed the update failed message then I closed the update window.
After that the GUI shows no connection between the laptop and LDC1000.
I have read some threads in this forum and tried to short +5V and LDCLK together. However smoke came out from one of the components on the board.
So far the two indicator lights were out and when I plug LDC1000 EVM into my laptop, it becomes very hot.
Is there any way that I can still get it work or it's already spoiled?
