Hi,

With TDC1000/7200 EVM, were trying to use ultrosonic ceramic sensor. But the sensor is not detecting the fluid level or any of the object distance. The user guide is followed and connection are good. Is there any way to debug what is happening behind? the board is very new and sensor is new too.

If any further details needed, I am ready to provide. Any direction to approach this issue is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your reply!
We have followed the user guide instructions. And we didn't mount the sensor and it is kept open in our experimentation. Presumed that the sensor will still work [just like SR04]. So basically we are trying the sensor without mounting. Is there any limitation in trying as such?

Dhinesh,
If the sensor isn't securely mounted to the container to provide a good acoustic connection you won't be able to perform a measurement.

Hello Minasi,

Thanks for your input. the sensor and EVM worked as we glued sensor per recommendation.

Does TDC1000 can be tweaked by register programming to capture the ultrasonic travel time in air to the next object or liquid?
