Basic setting for FDC 2112 using arduino to get 13.3ksps.

I am very new to FDC 2112 I, I went through the data sheet to test the IC but it seems a bit confusing at the moment. Could you please list all the basic registers that requires to be changed in a brand new IC  fdc 2112 for a single ended measurement' at 13ksps with no addition features at all(such as power reduction). My aim is to check the max.sample rate and also resolution using an arduino only. If you have any code regarding this in arduino. It would be useful too.

Also will the device give the same sample rate of 13+ksps with differential measurement and the same settings as the above .

Thank you!

  • Hi Tony,

The sampling rate is set by the reference count (RCOUNT). Please refer to Section 9.3.2 of the datasheet.

If you are referring to the differential sensor configuration in Fig. 55, that does not affect the sampling rate.
