Question about Evaluation Boards

Hello,
I am an enthusiast, and would appreciate your help.

- after the evaluation board if off the power supply, will it "remember" it's configuration?
- if LDC1xxx module and the MC one are split up, and LDC1xxx is up on his own, will it "remember" the last configuration?

- is there software I can use with the evaluation board that runs on Android?

  • Hello Amir,

The LDC devices do not retain their configuration after power-down. The MCU reconfigures the LDC after each power-up. The MCUs we use for the LDC EVMs are significantly more powerful than many LDC applications would require, because we select MCUs which provide a USB connection.

At this time we do not have an Android GUI for the EVMs. However, as the interface to the LDC devices are common (SPI or I2C, depending on the device), there are many systems which can communicate with the LDC. For example, FPGAs and Raspberry PIs have been used to configure and drive the LDC1000.

    Regards,
