Dear Technical Support,

I have a question about TDC1000.

I can't find reflector for ultrasonic on general online, so I may make it myself with like a metal plate.

What metal material should I use? How is the thickness should I prepare.

Do you have a recommendation for reflector?

Can I use general mirror for reflector?

I would like to try to detect oil with TDC1000.

It all depends on what your transfer medium is. You'll want to maximize the difference between the speed of sound of the transmission medium and the target. For instance:
Good reflector: Water (Csound: 1480m/s ) vs. air (343m/s)
Not so Good: Water(Csound: 1480m/s ) vs Arcylic (Csound 1430m/s)
Good: Water (Csound: 1480m/s ) vs. Steel (6000m/s)
