They launched the OPT8320-CDK-EVM, but the only thing that I could find was the User Guide:

Desperately waiting for the OPT8320-CDK-EVM can be ordered. From May 9 its more then 4 weeks now, any chance to get a preliminary version ? Will just need the sensor part as DVP shall be connected directly. Interesting TI is using one of our parts (FX2) for the USB :-) ... and, btw, any way to get to prelim docs (schematics, gerber) ?

Dear Michael,

We have had additional constraints in being able to release the EVMs. The recent development in EU regulations requires us to pass more tests on the EVMs. We would take approximately 3 weeks - 4 weeks to release the EVMs now.

I have been waiting since January for this kits. First April, than May and than July end. Also, we are NOT in EU so why not give the kits to people who are not EU. Starting to sound like they have major tech problems.

KTC,

TI EVM release process mandates the CE certification and there is currently no way to release to specific geographies. Good to know you are not in EU. Please mail us directly at ti-3dtof@list.ti.com for more details.

Dear KTC,

Sorry for the inconvenience. There is no technical problems with the EVMs. But when we release products on the Web, we need to address all customer base and can't control which customer buys from which region.
