Hello,

In the customer, the setting of the GUI was initialized sometimes.
The customer using windows 10 OS. Is this reason Windows 10?

Does the GUI support windows 10 OS?
From the user's guide, I understood that the support OS is 64bit XP,7.
Are there any plan to support windows 10?

Hello Asaka-san,

The Sensing Solutions GUI does support Windows 10.

However, if the customer changes some setting and then powers cycle the device, the setting will be initialized.

Hello Asaka-san,

The register setting is actually stored in the MSP430 firmware. Upon powering up, the MSP programs the setting into FDC2214.

The settings are specified by the firmware files, which you can find in the Sensing Solutions GUI folder -> EVM Firmware.

I would like to know that the following operation is normal or not.
And if this is abnormal operation, are there any workaround?

- When they operate FDC2214EVM with Sensing Solutions GUI.
- They change some settings.
- The GUI is refreshed the settings sometimes. So, they must change some settings again. This is very inconvenience.

If they disconnected the USB power and reconnected again, the settings would be initialized.

Thank you for the reply.
In the customer, the initializing is occurred without any disconnection or power cycle. This is occurred on connected the USB power.
I will check their connection is correct or not.
