Shouldn't the wording be: [...] J5 Pin 12 and ...J5 Pin 7?

For TX1/RX2, the pins are J5.8 and J5.10. For TX2/RX1, the pins are J5.12 and J5.14. Please refer to schematic on page 35. You can choose J5.12 but then you have to choose CH2 for CONFIG2 CH_SEL field in the TDC1000 register tab.

Vishy, thanks for the reply. The schematic clears things up, I hadn't thought to look at it but the Figure above (5-1) was confusing as it says Pin 8 (but schematic pin 10 is pictured) and pin 7 (but schematic pin 13 is pictured).

How do I read two transducers connected to TX1 and TX2 on one TDC1000_TDC7200_EVM board?

TDC1000 has multiple modes of operation. In Mode 1, you can send on TX1 connected to first transducer and receive on RX1 connected to the second transducer. The TDC1000 transmit mux then allows you to send on TX2 connected to the second transducer and receive on RX2 connected to the first transducer so you have effectively 2 channels (TX1/RX1 and TX2/RX2) working.
