I'm using the DRV5053OA in a design. I'm curious what the distribution of sensitivity is, since it specified min,typ,max of -17.5, -11, -5 mV/mT.
17.5 mV / mT might be too much for our application, and we cannot reduce the size of the magnet.
So, if we had to test and throw out devices that are close to 17.5 mV/mT, how many might we encounter? If -17.5 mV/mT is a few sigmas out from average we could live with it, but if the sensitivity truly has a high deviation we may need to consider another approach.
