Hi TI,

I make a board for OPT8241 & OPT9221 test.

GPIO_3 of OPT9221 should output low after power on. (external connect to LED, LED will be turn on)

But GPIO_3 of my board often output high and low. (LED flicker)

Could you explain the status of GPIO_3? How does it work?

    Hi Eric,

    GPIO_3 will reflect the mac_test_enable register status after OPT9221 firmware loads.

    By default GPIO_3 will be low (mac_test_enable = 0) and it will go high when mac_test_enable = 1.


    If the GPIO_3 LED is flickering, could you please check your power supply and also see if you have an accidental board short between GPIO_3 and some other signal.
