What is TDC_SELECT drop down start-stop123?

Hi,

In the TDC 1000 TDC 7200 evm GUI, there is an option for choosing stop pulses. I wanted to know what was start-stop123, start-stop234.. etc. Is it the average these stop pulses? Please see the attached screeshot.
