In TMP 112-Q1, 5K resistor between Power supply and V+ pin required?

Hi,

In the Datasheet of TMP112-Q1, a 5K Resistor is recommended between the Supply and V+ pin, but in the Evaluation board of TMP112-Q1 there is no 5K resistor, can you please suggest which one to follow, whether to go with the datasheet or with Evaluation Board? Kindly do the needful.
